(Sat. June 28, 2014) Conversations Book Club Presents its Summer Book Fair 2014
Conversations Book Club is excited to announce that this year's Summer Book Fair will take place on Sat. June 28, 2014 from 1-3p.m. at the Pearl Public Library (2416 Old Brandon Road * Pearl, MS) and will feature some of Mississippi's bright literary voices and some special guests.
Authors from Mississippi that will be at this year's event are Kelly Stone (I Dance For You * Chasing Blossom), Darlene Collier (Married to Sin), Glenda L. Hunter (An Unspeakable Secret * It Finally Happened) and Andre Johnson (Man with Three Faces: Yearning For Control). "This year's event will be a mixture of not just authors from around the state of Mississippi but special guests siblings/authors Joseph Barnett (Mr. Joe) and Jane Congdon (It Started with Dracula) will be joining the group as well," says Cyrus Webb, book club President and founder of the yearly event. "We're excited to bring these authors together for readers around the state to meet, discover their work and be inspired by their individual journeys."
Admission to the event is free, however, each author will have books available for purchasing.

As the United States wraps up celebrating Women's History Month and prepares to usher in April which is recognized as Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Conversations Book Club is excited to host 2 authors who have survived abuse in their lives and are showing others how they can as well.

Conversations Media Group President Cyrus Webb is excited to announce his pick for Conversations Book Club online and in-person discussions during the month of January 2014.
"My goal during 2014 is to introduce the world to book that are not just engaging but make the reader think and feel something," says Webb, 38. Over the years he has been able to learn lessons from fiction and non-fiction titles, and he believes the same is true for others as well.
Webb's choice for the month of January 2014 is sure to have lovers of Fiction and Non-Fiction alike coming together to discuss it: THE SINNERS' GARDEN by William Sirls (published by Thomas Nelson).
"William Sirls has a way of telling a story that not only engages the reader but brings them into each situation," Webb explains.
